The Zen of Cooking

On the 20th, I’m going to watch this film, How To Cook Your Life, about Soto Zen priest, Edward Brown’s cooking classes.

Today, I just came across some very inspiring and uplifting photos & web pages of Zen cooking in Japan:
The Zen of Shojin Cuisine
The Art of Vegetables

Wonderful! Natural flavours, delicately seasoned… I can just imagine that light, clean taste already.

Here are photos & recipes of general Japanese dishes which are irresistible. If you can’t read Japanese, no worries, just use Rikaichan for Firefox!
